During my internship at Blue Sky Innovations, I participated in our lab’s intern concept pitch competition. At the beginning of the summer, all interns were split into two separate groups and given the following challenge:
“Using an emerging technology, develop a team building experience similar to an escape room that can bring people together and have a positive experience working with others.”
Over the course of the summer, I served as our team’s lead designer as we created a concept pitch addressing this challenge. I specifically oversaw the story development and user experience of our concept and created 3D visualizations of our proposed experience.
At the end of the summer, our team presented our concept pitch to employees at UNC Blue Sky Innovations and the UNC Kenan-Flager Business School, winning the competition for best concept.
